First Time...

Take a look at some recent 'FIRST times':
First time catching Aydrie on camera rolling over...(she's been rolling over for a couple of days now).

First time the kids are in the tub together.

First time bottling chicken:

Started like this...
Frozen

Thawing

Fill bottles, put lids on, place in Pressure Canner

Start the oven...

And wait, and wait, and wait...can't leave the pressure cooker, so I found something productive to do...

Finished product that has at least a 5 year shelf life...sitting on the shelf!

Pretty Dang Exciting, HUH?

Way to go with the chicken! That looked like a lot of work. Five years huh? That's impressive.
As for my post. I forget that some of my readers may not know that my husband builds custom homes (including the cabinets) for a living. That project would have taken a do-it-yourself-er a very long time. (Mark's worried that he's getting some husbands in trouble.) :)

WHAT???!!! Breann, I'm amazed- really! I'm not going to lie I secretly wish I was a great cook and could do all that sort of stuff! GOOD FOR YOU!

Way to go! Good for you. You have your own pressure cooker, and you have a bosch? Sheesh, you are spoiled!

As for politics, I started out listening to Rush Limbaugh, but now I listen to Glenn Beck, Rush, Michael Medved, and another local show. These guys tell you things the news doesn't, and I learned things I never did in school. Sometimes I'm just like, HUH?

But the important thing is for you to speak up and contact your elected representatives and let them know what you believe. I know not everyone has the patience to listen to as much radio as I have, which is why I created Cognizance Today, to let you know when things come up that you should be aware of. Thanks for checking in!
