Great Thanksgiving...Now Time for the Christmas Tree!!!

We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent time with both our families. Thanksgiving day we were with Cam's family. All the aunts, uncles, and cousins were able to be there this time! We had an excellent dinner at Uncle Troy's house in Mt. Pleasant. We were entertained with talents from various family members and then we had an all-family pictures taken at a studio there in Mt. Pleasant. We'll see how they turn out! We finished off the night by playing a fun 'Guessing Game' that Shannon prepared for everyone! We have some great actors in the family....Cam being one of the best...ha ha ha. Brayden enjoyed playing with his cousins again and Aydrie was spoiled by everyone! What a great day!!!
On Saturday we spent time with my family. We had another wonderful dinner. Then the boys went shooting guns and the girls made a really cute Christmas craft (Thanks, Mom!..and thanks Jamie for the bows! You have such a great talent!) Later we ate more pie and watched movies. The boys also got to play some basketball. It was another fun day!
We love our families! We have so much fun with them! Thanks everyone for a great time. WE LOVE YOU!

Well, as soon as we got back home, we put up and decorated our Christmas tree. We have a fake, pre-lit tree and we love it! I grew up with a real tree my whole life and thought that the transition from a real to fake tree would be hard. But, it's been great. The only thing the fake tree lacks is that great pine smell. AHHHH. Anyway, here are some pictures of our fun time.

Brayden getting into the Christmas boxes

Putting the tree parts together

Trying to add the tinsel to the tree...a little hard with only one hand.

Helping Brayden put the Christmas BREAKABLE balls on the tree...last year he broke more than half our collection of these balls...he's only broke 2 so far. Didn't you know it's so fun to bang two Christmas balls together? ha ha

Last but not least..the Star!

Never a dull moment at our house!! Thanks Cam - you make life so fun!

After Cam posed like this, Brayden thought it was so funny and decided to join him.

Ta-Da...Final Product! Oh, so pretty!

Question???

I am wondering how to add a certain feature to my "Family and Friends" list. Many blogs that I have looked at show under each name in their list of Family and Friends when the last time that person posted.

For example:
Clark Family

I'm wondering how to add the "2 hours ago".

How do I add that feature? Any help would be much appreciated.
THANKS!

Happy Birthday Cam!

Today is Cameron's 25th birthday! Because of school and work, we couldn't celebrate or do anything fun today. We'll do some kind of party next week. I did send home-made oreo cookies with him to school for him and his friends (yep, that's the teacher in me). Those cookies were the closest thing to a cake he got today. Sorry Cam!
I love Cameron so much! I am so blessed to have him in my life. He is the best husband, father, and friend that I could ever ask for. I can't believe how well he juggles family time, school, work, and all his other responsibilities. Brayden and Aydrie are so lucky to have him as a father. He is so cute with Aydrie and so fun with Brayden. Brayden LOVES playing with his dad. Cam brings so much life and fun to our home. Cameron is, without a doubt, the life of the party! I think everybody would agree with me on that!
I love you, Cameron! You are the best thing that has happened to me.
Happy Birthday!

Picture Tag

Fourth picture in fourth folder:

This is Grandpa Clark with the grandkids - Brayden, Karlee, and Collyn - taken a year or so ago. It's so fun when we are all together. The Clark family lives in Oklahoma right now. We hope they get to come back soon. We miss them...and as Brayden says it: "I miss gampa and mama."

We tag anyone who wants to do this.

Brayden's Tag

5 things you might not know about Brayden:

1. Brayden loves to clean....whenever I am doing dishes, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc... he wants to be right there with me doing the same thing. What a big helper he is!

2. One of Brayden's favorite things is "stickers"...which is tape...any kind of tape.

3. Brayden has a big scar on the top of his hand. When he was about 1.5 years old, we went bowling, and he decided to stick his hand in the bowling ball return thing. The belt scraped off skin, but he didn't bleed! Ever since then, he can tell you where his "owie" (spelling?) is.

4. Brayden has always been really good at transitions...from nursing to the bottle, binki to no binki, sippy cup to one drink before bed, crib to bed, etc. We are very lucky!

5. Even though Brayden knows how to open doors, when he wakes up in the morning, he will knock on his door until me or Cameron comes and opens the door for him. It's really funny and cute.

A Few Things Brayden Loves.....

"Kitties"

"Doggies"

Helping Mom with the Dishes - We don't have a dishwasher...well, I guess that's what you call me...so we wash dishes by hand. More water ends up on the floor and counters than in the sink. He loves it!

Drawing and Watercoloring

Playing in the water

Riding in the stroller

Camping and Fishing

And...

His baby sister, Aydrie!

We love our little guy!

Aydrie's 1st day at church

We took Aydrie to church yesterday for the first time. We had to speak in Sacrament Mtg. Thank you Natalie and Drew for watching our kids! You guys were such a big help! Our talks went great. Cameron also had to teach a Sunday School lesson. He did an awesome job! It was nice to be back.

Cousin Fun

Cam's sisters and their families visited today! We had lots of fun hanging out. Hopefully we can get together more often!

Here they are! Left to right: Collyn (Shannon and Parris' boy), Brayden, Aydrie, Karlee (Tawnie and Andy's girl). CUTE!

Watching a movie together

Aydrie is 3 weeks old already!

Aydrie is 3 weeks old today! I can't believe how the time goes! Aydrie is doing great. At her 2 weeks appointment she weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz.! She's gained a lot - probably because she eats really well. She's been a little sick lately - but nothing that a humidifier and Vicks won't cure! She's starting to get better, hopefully. Here's some cute pictures of her all dressed up! We love our kids to death!

Love the cheeks!!!
