We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent time with both our families. Thanksgiving day we were with Cam's family. All the aunts, uncles, and cousins were able to be there this time! We had an excellent dinner at Uncle Troy's house in Mt. Pleasant. We were entertained with talents from various family members and then we had an all-family pictures taken at a studio there in Mt. Pleasant. We'll see how they turn out! We finished off the night by playing a fun 'Guessing Game' that Shannon prepared for everyone! We have some great actors in the family....Cam being one of the best...ha ha ha. Brayden enjoyed playing with his cousins again and Aydrie was spoiled by everyone! What a great day!!!
On Saturday we spent time with my family. We had another wonderful dinner. Then the boys went shooting guns and the girls made a really cute Christmas craft (Thanks, Mom!..and thanks Jamie for the bows! You have such a great talent!) Later we ate more pie and watched movies. The boys also got to play some basketball. It was another fun day!
We love our families! We have so much fun with them! Thanks everyone for a great time. WE LOVE YOU!
Well, as soon as we got back home, we put up and decorated our Christmas tree. We have a fake, pre-lit tree and we love it! I grew up with a real tree my whole life and thought that the transition from a real to fake tree would be hard. But, it's been great. The only thing the fake tree lacks is that great pine smell. AHHHH. Anyway, here are some pictures of our fun time.
Brayden getting into the Christmas boxes
Putting the tree parts together
Trying to add the tinsel to the tree...a little hard with only one hand.
Helping Brayden put the Christmas BREAKABLE balls on the tree...last year he broke more than half our collection of these balls...he's only broke 2 so far. Didn't you know it's so fun to bang two Christmas balls together? ha ha
Last but not least..the Star!
Never a dull moment at our house!! Thanks Cam - you make life so fun!
After Cam posed like this, Brayden thought it was so funny and decided to join him.
Ta-Da...Final Product! Oh, so pretty!

What a pretty tree (ours is around 2 feet). That's totally Cameron. I can't even imagine how boring school would be without him.
Looks good!
