Christmas Fun and Wisdom Teeth

We had a great Christmas! We were sad we didn't get to hang out with my family as originally planned (the snow storm kept us home). However, we joined our cousins upstairs for their Christmas party on Christmas Eve. We snacked on really good food, watched the younger (and some older) kids act out the Nativity, and then opened Christmas gifts. Our cousin Kim and her family gave Brayden a panda chair. He LOVES it. He carries it around like a stuffed animal. Our cousin Tonya and her family gave him a big hummer car and I think he wore most of the battery out that night! Aydrie got a fun toy to hang on her car seat and a cute pair of clothes. Our Uncle Dennis and Diana gave Brayden a car and Aydrie a baby doll. We didn't get our kids much...but they were spoiled by everyone else! Thanks!

Awesome Car!

We slept in until 9:30 Christmas morning. Brayden didn't wake up until then. Oh, how nice! I don't think Brayden understands the whole opening presents, "what's Santa bringing you", ...that whole Christmas thing...but once he started opening presents, he liked playing with his new toys. Santa gave him a train with a track set, bubbles, balloons, and sun glasses. Aydrie got a couple pair of clothes, a toy to lay under when on the floor, and her and Brayden both got 'Candy Land'. Friends and family also gave them outfits and other fun stuff. Thank you! I got P90X! yah baby!(Clark boys and Clark Dad....you're going down!!! ha ha ha) Cam got a weight lifting bench (thanks Tawnie and Andy!), some nice clothes for work, a phone card to call Brasil, Cologne, and a movie. We had a great Christmas!
We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas! What a great time to get together with family and friends and remember what's really important!

And on Saturday, my wisdom teeth were taken out! The whole procedure went faster than I thought...15 minutes....crazy! I only had three wisdom teeth to take out. I don't have one on the bottom left side of my mouth. So that's why I look more swollen on the other side of my face. I'm already getting sick of pudding, soup, and ice cream...well, maybe not the ice cream. Good times! Sorry about the funny picture....I didn't know Cam was taking it when I turned around. It was taken as soon as we got home from the dentist.

Some Christmas Randomness

Here are a few random Christmas pictures that show what we've been up to (not much).

Brayden holding Aydrie by the tree....didn't work out too well, but cute anyway!

Santa came to the ward Christmas party. Brayden was really excited to finally get his turn to sit on Santa's knee....however, I think he was more excited to get the candy cane from Santa.

Brayden and Aydrie with Santa...of course, Aydrie slept through it all.

Aydrie in her Christmas dress (thanks Jason & Katie!) ready for church. I LOVE these pictures of her! I think she is so dang cute! What a doll! I have so much fun dressing her up!

Busy Weekend Pictures

Here are the details and pictures of our Busy weekend. Thanks Cam for getting our computer fixed!

Clark Christmas Party
We started the party with a wonderful dinner prepared by Parris and Shannon. It was SOOOO good. They should start their own catering buisness. Next we sang songs and opened presents. Cam had to work, so he didn't arrive until later. We talked and laughed while the kids played and around midnight, we went home. It was really great to get together with everyone again.

Before opening presents we sang Christmas songs to Parris' excellent guitar playing.

Brayden playing with his car he got from Shannon and Parris. He LOVES this car. He won't go to sleep without it.

Shannon gave me this. I LOVE it! Cam is showing off the magnets that Shannon made herself.

Aydrie's Baby Blessing
We blessed Aydrie on Sunday and afterwards we had a lunch at our house. It was really fun getting her dressed up in her dress. She looked so cute! Cameron did a great job with the blessing. We had lots of family and friends come. Thank you! For lunch we had sandwiches, salads, chips, and desserts. I think it all turned out really nice (even though I felt like a chicken running around with it's head cut off). Thanks to our cousins for letting us have the lunch upstairs as well. And thanks to everyone for coming and also for bringing food!

Cute girl in a pretty dress!

Busy Weekend

Our computer had decided to quit working, so I will add more details and pictures of our weekend later. (I'm typing on Cam's laptop right now).
This weekend was crazy and really fun. We did some Christmas shopping on Thursday - We LOVE Quilted Bear! - Then Friday night we went to the Clark Christmas party at Shannon and Parris' house. We had so much fun! The Clarks know how to party! Saturday was filled with wedding stuff...Temple, luncheon, and reception for Cam's cousin, Jad. I had never been inside the Salt Lake Temple before so it was really neat! I couldn't believe how bad the driving was on the freeway because of the snow....There were cars all over on the sides of the roads. Sunday was Aydrie's baby blessing and lunch afterwards. She was beautiful in her dress! Cam did an awesome job with the blessing. It was so great to see family and friends. Thanks everyone for coming!

More details and pictures later.

Festival of Trees

Last night we went to the Festival of Trees. We have never been before. The traffic was horrible and we had to drive around for a while to find a parking spot. Once we got to the place, we were pretty amazed at all the trees. There were so many! I can't believe how creative some people can get when it comes to Christmas tree decorating. I now have some fun ideas for our next year's tree!

Brayden's favorite part was wiggling the chains that surrounded groups of trees.

You can't see very well from this picture, but these trees were called 'The Rival Trees'. One was decorated for BYU and the other one for U of U.

Family Pictures

We had our Family pictures taken a couple of weeks ago. Our cousin Kim took the pictures. She did such a great job! Here are some of our favorites.
