Week in REVIEW
Our week went something like this:
1. My Grandma Fowles passed away a little more than a week ago. We attended the funeral in St. George. Memories of her danced through my mind as I stood by her casket and later, attended the funeral services.
Good memories - like the time when she started a tickle-ice war with a few of us...she came out victorious and the rest of us emerged with ice down our backs.
Great memories - like the time when we traveled far away (I now don't remember where we were headed....strange...) and we rode in the back of my grandparents blue truck. This truck was awesome because it had carpeted floors and benches in the cab..and that's where we rode -coloring, eating treats, and playing games with my grandma.
Fun memories - like the time when we hiked in the red hills of St. George. She pointed out flowers and plants, and issued warnings to not get too close to the river.
Sad memories - like the times when she started loosing her memory to Alzheimer's'... but she never forgot who we were.
The hardest part of the funeral was seeing my Grandpa look at her lifeless body one last time before closing the casket.
The best part of the funeral was the peace I felt. Peace came because I know that one day, we will see her again. And one day, my grandpa will hold her again.
And of course, it was wonderful seeing ALL my relatives again.
2. I tuned 25 last Wednesday. No more birthdays for me...I'm staying 25 forever.
It was a great day. I visited with my family and friends. Then Cam spent the entire evening with me - instead of studying for a test (But don't worry - He passed with all sorts of colors). He took me to Olive Garden (My SECOND LOVE) and then to a movie. He also sprinkled our home with BEAUTIFUL flowers of the Hawaiian sort.
3. Mush is now part of Aydrie's diet...but it's not her second love....it's not even her first....I think she loves it about as much as I love onions...and that's NO LOVE AT ALL.
4. Brayden has become an inch-off-the-floor jumper, Desitin applier, and towel modeler.
He's also a mini Stud-Muffin...
5. And Cam - he's catching a few ZZzzzzz's whenever possible, and cooking up something he likes to call Egg-Eye (never had it before...we'll make sure to bless it first...hee hee)
Busy busy busy...

Crystal Clear
It is now VERY CLEAR...
I'd even say CRYSTAL CLEAR...
Where Aydrie gets this DASHING model pose:

Are YOU seeing it?
They say Brayden and Aydrie look like me - they have my nose shape, light brown hair color, and sexy blue eyes....
I guess they did inherit one thing from their father...(who shares the same trait with ALL the Clark brothers)
I'd even say CRYSTAL CLEAR...

Half-a-year Old
The many different FACES and POSES of Aydrie at 6 months:
Her TIRED eyes:
"I'm-gonna-be-a-model-someday" face:
Another model pose:
Newly-found JOY = TOES
Telling me stories:
Telling herself stories:
"I wanna hold it..."
Check out this belly action:
Happy child:
Random info:
*Aydrie shows more interest in toys and objects. She reaches for things and shakes them once they are in her hands.
*She recognizes me and Cam - sometimes cries when we are not the ones holding her.
*She is a HAPPY baby - full of giggles and laughs
*Brayden can make her laugh the most. Just watching him race his bike back and forth across the floor sends her into a giggling spurt.
*She looks AMAZING in blue:
She kept falling asleep as I was taking these pictures...
What did I tell ya?

Four years ago today, I married my BEST FRIEND...And he's HOTT!
Although it was an extremely cold and WINDY day (blast that wind...so much for nice hair for pictures!), and my body was seized by a little something called MONO, it was an EXCITING, HAPPY day - one full of wonderful blessings. The first blessing was my miraculous come-back from the miserable depths of mono-ville. The night before, my father gave me a priesthood blessing. The Lord sure blessed me. The second blessing was Cam - so handsome in his Tux...being married to him in the Manti Temple. AMAZING! Some may think I wasn't coherent through the ceremony - but I was and I am so grateful.
The years have been good...really good.
The first year had Cam playing basketball for Snow College, which meant he was gone for days at a time. That was hard. I started teaching 1/2 day kindergarten. Loved that!
Our second year brought our first child, Brayden. Cam stopped playing ball and focused more on schooling...working hard to get his grades higher so he could apply for Pharmacy school. I taught 2nd grade full time...a challenge because I now left my new baby every day...hard.
And our third year, Cam applied for and was accepted to pharmacy school, I taught 1st grade full time...really hard!
Fourth year we moved, Cam started school AND work (he's got a full plate!), we had our second child, Aydrie, and I am staying at home doing all the mother/wifey/homemaker things...or at least trying to.
Like I said, these 4 years have been good. One year has not been harder than the others (I always heard the first year was hardest...not true for us). We've learned a lot, changed a bunch, and have grown closer than ever!
How blessed I am to be married to my best friend. This is why:
-he makes me laugh
-he doesn't complain
-he a great father..not only because he provides for our needs, but because he plays with Brayden...they play horsey, go to the store together, wrestle, chase each other, ....I could go on an on. He loves to hold Aydrie, and lately, he's the only one she will go to sleep for. He helps put the kids to bed...singing any imaginable song Brayden asks him to come up with. He has a way with children. I AM SO THANKFUL!
-he's hott!
-he is so patient with me and he has been since day 1
-he knows how to make me feel better
-he knows how to make others feel good, too...his clever whit can change an awkward situation into an enjoyable one.....that's why I take him with me EVERYWHERE!
-he knows how to dance the sexy way
-he's a ROCK in the gospel
-he's an awesome example to me...you know how they say to marry someone who makes you want to be a better person? I definitely did that.
I look forward to the many adventures we'll have in the future...It doesn't matter what we do - as long as I have him by my side, LIFE IS GOOD.
Happy Anniversary!

Blessed!
Who of you out there LOVED Conference?
WE DID...
I most appreciated the many talks of PEACE and HAPPINESS..
PEACE and HAPPINESS we can have even in this troubled time.
Our church leaders are AMAZING and how BLESSED we are to have them!
FHE yesterday was simple yet so GRATIFYING!
Cam gave a short lesson on Temple covenants and ordinances (mainly because his sweet wifey was some what confused...)
And then our small family journeyed to the Jordan River Temple...only 5 minutes away. Because the day was Monday, we had the Temple all to ourselves.
We strolled around the MAJESTIC building discussing conference favorites and our many blessings...
Because let me tell you, we ARE very BLESSED!
Brayden and Aydrie enjoyed their time on the Temple grounds.
There was BEAUTY ALL around...
Beautiful Temple
Beautiful Flowers
Beautiful People
And Beautiful backsides...ha ha ha
Life is SOOO GOOD!
Remember to count YOUR blessings...
And Be HAPPY!
