Three

Three has been quite an adjustment.
Definitely harder than two.
But totally worth it.

Jaelee is 7 weeks old.
Her most favorite thing to do is play dress-up and model for the camera.

I'd say she does a pretty good job.

She's a great baby.
She has slept through the night 4 or 5 times now. Awesome.
All she really does every day is the norm: eat, sleep, and poop. Love it.

Brayden and Aydrie love her, too.

(Tummy time is fun for everyone - except Jaelee)

Brayden loves to hold Jaelee.

He is really good at playing 'Can You Go Get...'
It's a fun game. It goes something like this:
I say "Can you go get a diaper and wipes for Jaelee?"
Brayden responds by searching the house for the wanted items.
Most times he is successful in his search.
He is a wonderful big brother. One day he pushed Aydrie on the bike for a long time. She was all giggles.

He is a BIG help!

(One day I hope to teach him how to help his sister down from high places - like on top of the table, or on top of the computer desk...)

Aydrie also enjoys playing dress up.

We have discovered curlers at our house. We love them. Even Aydrie.

She is really good at helping make cake.
(It tastes better when you're naked. ha ha)

And this is one place we find her...just chillin'.

But the MOST fun everyone has is when they get to play with Dad:

Cameron has a few weeks left of school and then starts rounds for a year. He'll experience life as a pharmacist in hospitals, retail stores, and other fun/interesting places. Although he is very busy, and often stressed, he finds time for everything - me, the kids, church calling, friends, school, and work.
He is amazing.

I'm just peachy. The first two weeks with three kids was hard.
But it's much easier now.
I'm still learning how to take all three kids out of the house on my own. Because it is a hard task, we don't make it out much unless Cam is with us.
I had a birthday. One year older - not necessarily wiser.
I passed my 6-week doctors appointment.
That means it's time to get back in shape.
P90X/treadmill/somewhat of a better diet - here I come!

Life is great.

First Week

Jaelee's Fist Week:

She gets this look from her daddy:

Happy St.Patrick's Day

She does this all the time:

And Cam wishes he got more of this:

Brayden and Aydrie LOVE her.
More pictures of them soon...when my camera chip has been cleared to make room for more.

Changes

I miss these two like crazy.

I haven't been apart from them for this long.
They have been staying with my parents...

BECAUSE...

She joined our family...

On March 11.

We named her Jaelee Noel Clark. I love the name Noel and wanted it for our baby's middle name from the beginning...Not Cam...but once we were in the hospital and he witnessed the painful state I was in, he agreed to Noel for her middle name. What a Sweetheart!

She weighed 7 lbs. 14 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

She was originally due on March 17th but I asked to be induced a week early (Cam's Spring Break was one of the reasons to go early).

We're all doing excellent...
Except I still miss these two.

But they are coming home tomorrow!

I CAN'T WAIT!

Not Complaining

Cam:
He has a big test tomorrow. He will be tested on a bunch of bacteria-type stuff...bacteria-type stuff that I can't read or even begin to sound-out and pronounce. So-
...GOOD LUCK to him!
He's also working Friday nights and 10-hour Saturdays at the pharmacy. This all adds up to no weekends for us...but we're not complaining. We are grateful he has a job. Plus, Cam is really good at juggling all aspects of his busy life....

Me:
I finished my last day of preschool. Bitter-sweet.
Just two more weeks until baby #3 shows up - baby #3 that still has no name...
Name possibilities (only names we agree on): Brielle (pronounced Bree-ell) and Jocelynn (you should see the facial expressions when we say that name).
I continue to grow larger by the day...I'm not just saying that...I have a scale that proves it, and even worse, the doctor has one too - and I think his scale is way too accurate. "Beached whale" comes to mind (thanks for that, Kinley) and sums everything up quite nicely.
But I'm not complaining...I have pretty easy pregnancies and I've been blessed with healthy, happy babies...So I can be a beached whale for a couple more weeks. Not a big deal.

Brayden and Aydrie:
Brayden has a very colorful imagination. And he asks a lot of questions. I hear "why cause?" and "huh?" a lot.
I LOVE watching Brayden and Aydrie play together. Aydrie even misses him when he is taking his nap. She cries and knocks on his bedroom door, waiting for him to come out or for me to open it. They are good to entertain each other. Love it.
They love it when we get out of the house.
They hate Cream of Wheat and can manage to choke down Oatmeal.
Brayden goes to Sunbeams and loves it. Aydrie walks/runs the church hallways with Cam and loves it.
Life is good.
Nothing to complain about!

Christmas Corner

This is how the Christmas Corner came to be:

The boys in the house assembled the three tree pieces...

The girls decorated...

While this boy enjoyed time spent in this large box...

And this girl shed a few tears because it was way more entertaining to attempt to destroy the carefully hand-crafted white and blue 'snowballs' rather than place them oh-so-nicely on the tree....and mom wasn't very pleased...and the said 'snowballs' were moved out of the said adorable girl's tiny reach...

And now, to keep the Christmas Corner intact, a table chair/banana chair/rocking chair/end table gate is constructed EVERY day...

But it's worth it....because I could sit in the Christmas Corner all day and watch the pretty lights flicker on and off...

And Aydrie could also sit in the Christmas Corner all day and eat ornaments, smash 'snowballs', and unwrap presents...which might happen in the very near future....She just learned how to FLIP, head first, over the said gate to get to the tree...

Aydrie understands the Christmas Corner:

It's MAGICAL...

And now Cam is smirking and rolling his eyes...

Other activities we've participated in that have helped RING in the upcoming Season:

Ward Christmas party
...don't judge....I'm about 6 months pregnant here...

Playing in the snow
...for only 7 1/2 MINUTES....Brayden enjoyed seeing his footprints all over...and it was just long enough for me to kick a trail to our front door.

Christmas Shopping (love it!)
...this was Cam's face when we were done...

We Love LoVe LOVE this time of year!

3 in 1

Three posts in one:

#1. Aydrie's most recent to-do's:

Pushing Brayden on his bike:

Immersing her self in the downward dog position:

Climbing a-top low objects such as the laundry basket...

Lookin' B.E.A.UTIFUL:

...and Brayden, too.

And she's starting to walk.

#2. The results of Brayden's love of the camera:

#3. The joy that a rather large box can bring to kids:

Life is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD....
