The day started a little like this...
But soon turned into this:
Party time!
Not only was this day special because of BreElle's bday, it was pretty awesome because me and two of my really good friends from childhood...all Sterling-ites...got together for the first time in years! Jeri is all over the US and happened to be in Utah for a little while. Sonia lives a couple towns over from us. Back ground info: Jeri introduced me to Star Wars and homemade curly fries. What!! Every Monday after school we would have a Star Wars/Curly Fries marathon. Loved it! Sonia and her family always sat on the long bench in front of my family at church. We were pageant angel buddies and later, roommates at Snow College. Both of these girls were my girls camp cohorts and a cherished part of my youth!
So, present day, we met at the Riverton park...kids played, we chatted and caught up on everything. It was a fun time! I miss these girls.
(side note: a little girl playing at the park decided to join our picture...she is back row in the middle wearing blue)
Cam decided to take Brayden to the 'Fathers and Sons' camp out...except they left a little later than planned and it was dark and they got lost...so they parked the van, slept in its squishy quarters, then went fishing in the morning. Come to find out, the 'Fathers and Sons' camp was just up the road a little...Oh well. They had fun and Brayden still talks about how great it was!
